Libya to employ a large number of Bangladeshi workers soon

Libya will employ a huge number of Bangladeshi skilled, semi-skilled and general workers for different government projects soon.
Libyan Manpower Secretary Maa'touk Mohammad Maa'touk said this while Muhammad Musa, secretary general, BCS Freedom Fighter and Mujibnagar Officers-Employees Association, called on him at his office in Tripoli recently.
CDA of Bangladesh Embassy Abu Abdullah and Director, Technical Cooperation of Libyan Government, Hassan S Alkasah were present during the meeting, said a press release issued in the city Thursday.
Exchanging views on different matters relating to mutual benefits of both the countries, Mr Musa urged the Libyan government to issue multiple visas for the recruiting agencies of Bangladesh in order to facilitate the smooth manpower export to Tripoli.
Mua'touk said the Bangladesh Embassy in Tripoli should verify all issues like job, salary, and housing and fringe benefits of every Bangladeshi worker before they came to Libya. So that they could enjoy their work and working environments, he added.
