Life term for one in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, Mar 29: Joypurhat Nari and Sishu Nirjaton Damon Tribunal-2 court sentenced a person for life term jail and fined Tk 20 thousand and in default 6 month jail more. Mohammad Monjur Hossain, Judge of the special court handed down the verdict Sunday. The accused is identified as Aminur Rahman alias Aminul of village Munjhar of Khetlal Upazila under the district. According to the prosecution, a disabled girl on March 26 in 2007 was coming back to her house from a relative's house, the when Aminul offered her gifts, house and slaughtered her.
