Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24-hour from 06:00 am today (Sunday), according to the Met Office.
It may also occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with heavy to heavy falls.
Mild heat wave may sweep over the districts of Jashore, Kushtia and Satkhira.
The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 36.6 degrees Celsius in Jashore and the minimum was 25.0 degrees Celsius in Rangpur.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.0 degrees Celsius on Saturday and the lowest was 27.5 degrees.
