Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country in the next 24-hour from 06:00am today (Sunday), according to Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, It added.
The country's maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 36.2 degrees Celsius in Sylhet and minimum was 23.8 degrees Celsius at Sandwip.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius on Saturday and the lowest was 28.5 degrees.
The sun sets in the city today (Sunday) at 05:45pm and rises tomorrow (Monday) at 05:50 am.
