Light tremor occurs

A light earthquake was felt at 05 hours 53 minutes and 46.11 seconds on Friday at the Seismic Centre of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) at Agargaon in the city. The location of the tremor was in Arunachal, India, a Met Office press release said. The magnitude of the tremor was 4.4 on the Richter scale. The distance of the epicentre of the earthquake was 406 kilometres north-east of the BMD seismic centre at Agargaon. — BSS
