Lightning kills 2 in Brahmanbaria

BRAHMANBARIA, Aug 13: Two persons were killed and three others injured in lightning strike at Krishnanagar of Nabinagar Upazila in the district Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Shahab Uddin (20), son of Nur Miah of village Krishnannagar under Nabinagar Upazila, and the other Rakib was a businessman of Bhairabnagar in the district.
Eyewitnesses said five boys were struck by a lighting while they were playing football at a playground at about 2:00 PM.
They were sent to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared Shahab and Rakib dead.
