Lightning kills 2 in Faridpur

FARIDPUR, May 5 (BSS): Two youths were killed and two others injured seriously by lightning at Sonamukhi village under Bhanga upazila of this district today.
According to police, the deceased were identified as Shamim Khalifa, 25, and Md Humayun, 35, and the injured are Md Rafiq, 30, and Md Shahin, 24.
They hailed from the same village under Kalamridha union of Bhanga upazila.
The victims were playing cards under a tree when they were hit by the thunderbolt.
Shamim and Humayun died on the spot where the two others received serious Injury.
The injured were admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
