Lightning kills 2 in two dists

SYLHET, Apr 10 (UNB): Two people were killed in separate incidents of lightning strike in Chhatak upazila of Sunamganj and Rajnagar upazila of Moulvibazar districts on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Abdus Sobhan,70, a resident of Majumdarichar village of Chhatak upazila of Sunamganj district, and Rashed Ahmed,13, son of Sayed Miah, a resident of Sarampur village in Rajnagar upazila of Moulvibazar district.
Locals said lightning struck Abdus Salam at Majumdarichar village when he was going to field with his cattle at about 9:00 am amid rain, leaving him dead on the spot.
On the other hand, Rashed was struck by lightning while he was returning home from field at Sarampur village at about 9:30 am.
