Lightning kills Barguna farmer

BARGUNA, Sept 13 (UNB): A farmer was killed by lightning strike at Uttar Jharakhali village in Amtali Upazila on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Jahangir Hossain, 26, son of Bazlur Rahman Howlader of the upazila.
Witnesses said Jahangir was struck by the thunderbolt when he was returning home along with cows and buffaloes from a nearby field in the afternoon.
