Lightning kills couple in Naogaon

A couple was killed when lightning struck them at Azul village at Enayetpur union under Mahadebpur upazila of Naogaon district on Monday. The deceased were identified as Abdul Matin, 45, and his wife Renu Begum, 35, of the village. Police said the lightning followed by a rainstorm hit the duo around 6 am when they were in the yard of their house. Both of them died on the spot. Officer-in-charge of Mahadebpur Thana Enayet Uddin confirmed the incident, according to BSS.
