Lightning kills mother, daughter in Bandarban

BANDARBAN, Oct 2 (UNB): A woman and her daughter were killed a lightning strike in Paglir Aga area of Lama here  Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Zohra Begum, 57, wife of late Habibur Rahman and her daughter Nasima Khatun, 16.
Locals said a thunderbolt struck the thatched house of Zohra during heavy rain in the area around 1:20 pm, leaving both Zohra and Nasima dead on the spot.
