Lightning kills two farmers in Barisal

Two famers were killed and three others injured in two separate incidents of lightning strikes in Barisal district on Thursday afternoon. Witnesses said thunderbolts knocked down the farmers when they were working in crop fields. They are Rustom Ali Sikder, 60, and Ishaq Ali Hawlader, 40. The injured are Abdur Razzak, 60, and Surma Begum, 9, and Abu Bakkar Siddique, 10, both of them are students of class four in Charhargula primary school, according to BSS.
