Lightning strike kills two in Noakhali

NOAKHALI, Oct 09 (UNB): Two men were killed after being struck by lightning at Lalchar in Hatia upazila of the district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were indentified as Mohammad Quamruzzaman (42), son of Kamal Uddin and Abul Kalam (50), son of Joynal Abedin of the upazila.
Zia Ali Mobarak, Chairman of Burirchar Union Parishad, said Qamruzzaman and Kalam died on the spot when lightning struck them. They were going to the pastureland with cattle around 9:00 am.
