Lions Club's district convention begins

The 15th annual District convention of Lions Club International, Zila-315A2 of Bangladesh began at a city hotel Friday, reports BSS.
Prime Minister's Adviser Syed Modasser Ali inaugurated the two-day convention.
Former international directors of the organisation Sheikh Kabir Hossain and Moslem Ali Khan and chairperson of the convention Principal Mahafuzul Haque attended the function as special guests.
Dr Modasser Ali lauded the role of the organisation which, with its 1.4 million volunteers, is dedicated to the cause of humanity.
