Liquor, beer worth Tk0.43m seized

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized 287 bottles of ‘Officer’s Choice’ wine and eight bottles of Haywards beer in Companyganj upazila in Sylhet district on Friday afternoon. Being tipped off, a team of BGB Battalion-5 led by Habildar Harun-or-Rashid conducted a drive in Chandranagar areaand seized the liquor and beer worth Tk Tk0.432 million (Tk4.32 lakh). The seized wine and beer were deposited to the local office of the Narcotics Control Department, according to a news agency.
