Thursday, 8 May 2014

State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan said the list of the accused in the Narayaganj seven abductions-murders case will be published any time, reports UNB.
The investigation report over the incident is almost complete, he told the news agency by phone Wednesday. Replying to a question the minister said a significant progress has been made in the investigation into the crime. The details of the case will be available in two or three days, he said.
Talking about the alleged involvement of three RAB officials in the abductions of the seven and the subsequent killings he said Rab has taken action as per their rule.
"Action will be taken against the RAB officials if their involvement is proved. No one will be spared---no matter whether they are RAB or police," he said.
Responding to a question the minister ruled out disbanding RAB. "I don't think that the image of RAB will be tarnished due to activities of a few Rab officials", he said. Law enforcers have been put on red alert along the bordering areas and airports so that the suspected killers cannot flee the country, he said.
"The law enforcement agencies have been working sincerely to arrest the culprits. They must be caught", he said
