Listed human trafficker arrested in Cox\\\'s Bazar

Police in a drive arrested a listed human trafficker from his house at Sonarpara village in Ukhiya upazila of Cox’s Bazar district on early Friday. The arrestee was identified as Khairul Haque, 28, son of Mohammad Kashim, a resident of the village. Tahirul Islam Khan, officer-in-charge of Ukhiya Police Station said, tipped off, a team of police raided the house of Khairul around 1:30 am and arrested him. Khairul is accused in several cases filed for human trafficking, said the OC, according to a news agency.
