Loan recovery camp held in Nilphamari

NILPHAMARI, Nov 7: Sonali Bank Ltd Nilphamari branch recently realized Tk 8.8 million at Jaldhaka Upazilla in a loan recovery camp there.
The camp jointly organised by BRDB, upazila Central Co-operative Association and Sonali Bank Ltd.
The loan recipients most of whom are BRDB members turned up in the camp to pay their loans to the bank which they borrowed during 1983-84 through BRDB to purchase deep and shallow tube wells.
Bank sources said Sonali bank Ltd. Rangpur division asked the concerned bank to arrange such camps to recover such loans in the district.
