Loan refinancing for women entrepreneurs

Bangladesh Bank (BB) governor Atiur Rahman on Thursday said they are going to issue an order to fix the loan refinancing for some small women entrepreneurs below Tk 50,000. Addressing the Women Entrepreneurs’ Conference and Product Display 2014, the BB governor said they are going to lower the loan refinancing limit for small women entrepreneurs taking up investment in buying computer, laptop, information technology and some other specific sectors. The conference was jointly organised by the Bangladesh Bank, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Asian Development Bank (ADB) and several other banks at a city hotel, according to a news agency.
