Local AL leader found dead in Bogra

BOGRA, July 17 (UNB): A local Awami League (AL) leader was found dead at a cropland at Kalki village in Shibganj Upazila Monday morning.
The police said Sharafat Ali (34), son of Ajgar Ali, and Kichok union AL leader, went missing Sunday.
Local people found the body in a cropland adjacent to his house in the morning and informed the police in connection with the matter.
Later the police recovered the body bearing several stab injuries and sent it to the morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed with the local police station.
