Local co to invest $4.9m in KEPZ

M/s Texture Art Ltd, a Bangladeshi company, will set up a garment manufacturing unit in the Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), said a press release.
This 100 per cent locally-owned company will invest US$4.9 million to set up its plant and will produce garments item.
The company will also create employment opportunity for 1540 Bangladeshi nationals.
An agreement to this effect was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and M/s Texture Art Ltd in BEPZA Complex, Dhaka recently.
