Local co to invest $7.893m in Adamjee EPZ

A Bangladeshi company, namely M/s Mikhail Plastopak Ltd will set up a rubber, plastic, paper products and garment accessories manufacturing industry in Adamjee Export Processing Zone.
This hundred per cent locally-owned company will invest US$ 7.893 million in setting up its unit. It will produce rubber, plastic, paper products and garment accessories.
The company will generate employment opportunity for 596 Bangladeshi nationals, according to a press release.
An agreement to this effect was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and M/s Mikhail Plastopak Ltd in BEPZA (Bangladesh Export Precessing Zones Authority) Complex in Dhaka Sunday.
Md Moyjuddin Ahmed, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA, and Md Fahad Muneem Rahmatullah, Managing Director of M/s Mikhail Plastopak Ltd, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Brig Gen Jamil Ahmed Khan, Executive Chairman, Md Shawkat Nabi, Secretary, AZM Azizur Rahman, General Manager (Investment Promotion), and other officers of BEPZA were present at the signing ceremony.
