Local companies join Oracle PartnerNetwork

More than 25 Bangladeshi IT companies, including IBCS-Primax Software (Bangladesh) Ltd and LEADS Corporation Ltd., have joined Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) to offer innovative IT solutions to local companies in the telecom, financial services, manufacturing and government sectors.
Oracle, which has more than 20,000 OPN members globally, will be welcoming more than 28 companies to OPN Days, a partner-focused event scheduled to take place in Dhaka today (Sunday).
Joint customers include Square Pharmaceuticals Limited (Bangladesh), Heidelberg Cement, BOC Bangladesh, Reliance Insurance, Dhaka Bank Limited, Grameenphone, Banglalink, United Commercial Bank Limited and Election Commission Secretariat.
At the event, Oracle will highlight its initiatives and channel strategies that will help partners grow their business and capabilities.
They will also showcase how independent software vendors (ISV's), system integrators, resellers and platform partners can take advantage of Oracle's expanded product portfolio across Database, Middleware and Applications to provide comprehensive IT solutions to their customers in the country.
In addition, local OPN members will discuss new market initiatives, leverage business opportunities, across key industries, and share success stories highlighting the value of partnering with Oracle.
"Today, information technology solution providers must keep ahead of the market and deliver high value-added products, solutions and services that will make a tangible, measurable difference to their customers' businesses," said Mr. Eugene Gopalan, General Manager, Technology Channels, Oracle Asia Pacific. Together with them, we can offer easy-to-deploy, affordable and industry-leading technology and solutions to organizations in Bangladesh."
