Local investor to set up garment factory at CEPZ

A local manufacturing company titled Modeste Limited will set up a garment factory at Chittagong Export Processing Zone (CEPZ) at a cost of US$ 5.098 million.
In this connection, an agreement was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and the Modeste Limited in the city Monday, reports BSS.
The 100 per cent locally owned firm would employ 969 workers, said a BEPZA press release.
