FE Report
Logitech's G series of gaming devices have been around for some time; long enough for them to have a V2 for the G15 keyboard. The new G15 has six programmable which is up to 18 macros or keystrokes.
Logitech has kept and improved on in some cases) the good aspects of the original keyboard, namely the backlighting, key travel, USB port and build quality. Although the LCD is smaller and doesn't tilt, it is still very readable under any lighting conditions. The orange colored backlight is also easy on the eyes and isn't glaring enough to disrupt gaming sessions.
The G15's key travel is good and generally solid. The detachable wrist rest isn't really necessary but the two USB 2.0 ports sure came in handy. Mice and other low-power devices are generally okay, but not portable hard disks. The LCD has several presets such as clock, stopwatch/countdown and most importantly, information on the game you're running. The list of supported games is growing all the time, so most of the latest titles are bound to be supported. In World of Warcraft, gamers will be able to see their stats, ammo and equipment durability amongst other info.
