London police arrest 6 Bangladeshis

London police have arrested at least six Bangladesh-born UK citizens from a house in East London. The arrestees include five members of a family, sources at the association of expatriate Bangladeshis in UK said on Thursday. They said police conducted a drive and picked up five members of a family – Inu Mia, 57, Hena Chowdhury, 48, two brothers Tuhin, 26, Mustakim, 23, and their sister Tamanna Shahrin, 29, from their house. Police arrested them on suspicion that they were linked to a Middle East-based militant group. Later, the police rounded up another Bangladesh-born British citizen from the same area, the sources added, according to a news agency.
