Lorry hits motorbike killing two in Chittagong

Chittagong, Jan 4: Two youths on a motorcycle were killed as a lorry hit their vehicle on the Chittagong-Shahamanat International Airport Road in the city this afternoon.
The deceased identified as Al Amin (21), son of Faruk Sheikh of Salna under Faridpur Sadar, and Rubby Sheikh (19), son of Shahid Sheikh of the same area, were cousins of one another.
The police in the Chittagong Medical College Hospital said Al Amin died on the spot as an oil-laden lorry hit their vehicle from the back at around 2.30 pm. Rubby was declared dead as he was taken to the hospital.
