Lottery for ICB AMCL Third NRB Mutual Fund held

The lottery for distribution of units of ICB AMCL Third NRB Mutual Fund was held in the city Tuesday, said a press release.
The Bureau of Research, Testing and Consultation (BRTC) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) conducted the lottery.
General Manager of Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) and Chairman of the ICB Asset Management Company Limited (AMCL) Md Khurshed Hossain, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the ICB Asset Management Company Limited Md Wahiduzzaman Khandaker, the CEO of ICB Capital Management Limited on behalf of sponsor and representatives form DSE, CSE and CDBL, among others, attended the programme.
A good number of applicants were also present at the programme.
The total size of the Fund is Tk 1.0 billion (10,00,00,000 units of Tk 10 each) out of which sponsor's contribution was Tk 800 million (8,00,00,000 units) have been offered for subscription to the non-resident Bangladeshi (NRB), resident Bangladeshi (RB) and Mutual Fund applicants.
Out of 7,59,080 valid applicants, 6,89,563 applicants were RB, 69,500 applicants were NRB and 17 applicants were Mutual Funds. The lottery was held in three categories RB, NRB and Mutual Fund.
The result of the lottery has been posted on the website of the company www.icbamcl.com.bd. The date and time of distribution of refund warrants and allotment advice will be announced through national dailies and company's website, the release added.
