Lottery of ICB AMCL Second Mutual Fund held

The lottery for distribution of units of ICB AMCL Second Mutual Fund was held Thursday at the auditorium of National Sports Council in the city.
The lottery was held in three categories. The result of the lottery is available on the website of the company www.icbamcl.com.bd.
The date and time of distribution of refund warrants and allotment advice will be notified to the investors through national dailies and company website.
Total size of the Fund is Tk. 50 0 million.(50,00,000 units of Tk. 100.00 each) out of which Sponsor's contribution is Tk. 100 million (10,00,000 units). The balance Tk. 400 million (40,00,000 units) have been offered for subscription to the NRB, RB & Mutual Fund applicants.
Out of 5,31,401 valid applicants, 5,05,874 applicants were Resident Bangladeshis, 25,513 applicants Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRB's) and 14 applicants Mutual Funds. The Fund was oversubscribed by 8.30 times against public offer of Tk. 400 million.
The Chairman of ICB Asset Management Company Ltd. gave thanks to the investors for showing confidence upon ICB & its subsidiary companies.
Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department of BUET conducted the lottery of the Fund.
The meeting was attended by the General Manager of ICB & Chairman of the ICB Asset Management Company Limited Mr. M. A. Motalib Chowdhury, General Manager of ICB Ms Dina Ahsan and Mr. Md. lftikhar-uz-Zaman, Chief Executive Officer of the ICB Asset Management Company Limited Mr. Md. Wahiduzzaman Khandaker, Sponsor of the Fund & Chief Executive Officer of the ICB Capital Management Limited Mr. Md. Abdur Rouf and representatives from SEC, DSE, CSE and CDBL. A huge number of applicants were also present in the lottery.
