M Amanullah elected chairman of Mercantile Exchange House

M Amanullah, the sponsor director of Mercantile Bank, has been elected as the chairman of Mercantile Exchange House (UK) Limited in MBL's 426th board meeting held recently, according to a statement.
Previously, he served as the chairman of the bank and made significant contributions to enhancing the efficiency and optimisation of Mercantile Bank during his tenure.
He played various roles as the chairman of different committees of the bank.
Mr Amanullah is the founder of the conglomerate, Aman Group of Companies, and is highly respected and distinguished as an industrialist in Bangladesh, the statement said.
His business acumen has led to the successful launch of diverse businesses under the umbrella of Aman Group of Companies and he currently holds the position of Chairman in all the companies under the group.
He serves as one of the directors of "Amader Shomoy", one of the top circulating dailies in Bangladesh. M Amanullah also holds the position of CIP and is the founder Chairman of Gulshan North Club, the statement added.
