M. Enayetur Rahim to serve as acting CJ

Justice M. Enayetur Rahim, a senior judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, will perform the duties as the acting Chief Justice (CJ) in the absence of Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan due to his USA visit, reports BSS.
"During this time, or till the Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan joins his office, Justice M. Enayetur Rahim will perform the duty of Chief Justice of the country as per the provisions of the article 97 of the Constitution of Bangladesh," he added.
