M I Cement holds 17th AGM

FE Report M.I. Cement factory Ltd. (Crown Cement) held its 17th Annual General Meeting at Bashundhara Convention Center-2 Sunday. Mr. Mohammed Jahangir Alam, Chairman of the company presided over the meeting. He described different success stories of the company along with inauguration of 4th production unit with additional 2800MTday capacity. He also added that the company has created goodwill beyond the national boundary, and has won Gold trophy for consecutive 2 years. Shareholders appreciated the board of directors for declaration of 35% Stock dividend and 15% cash dividend, and approved the declaration. All other agenda including audited financial statements of the company for the year ended 30th June, 2011 appointment of new auditors for the year 2011-12 were approved. Mohammed Jahangir Alam and Alhaj Md. Khabiruddin Molla are reelected as Chairman and Managing Director respectively. All other directors including Mr. Alamgir Kabir, Mr. Molla Mohammed Maznu, Mr. Mizanur Rahaman Molla, Mr. Almas Shimul, sponsor shareholders Mr. Allhaj Abdur Rouf, Mr. Asrafuzzaman and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Mukter Hossain Talukder were present in the meeting. Company secretary Md. Shah Alam Miah, FCS conducted the meeting.
