MA Awal new chairman of NSU Foundation

MA Awal, a founder life member of the North South University Foundation that established the North South University (NSU), has been unanimously elected chairman of the foundation and the university for 2008-2009 term at its 16th annual general meeting held in the city Thursday, said a press relase.

NSU is the first and premier private university of Bangladesh that has been playing a pioneering role in providing quality higher education in the country.

MA Awal, a science graduate from the University of Dhaka and a graduate in advanced management from Germany, previously served the foundation and the university as chairman for two consecutive terms of two years each during 1995-1997 and 1997-1999.
