Macabre killing of a minor boy in Pabna

PABNA, Jun 28: Police recovered the beheaded body of an abducted minor boy in Chatmohar Upazila Friday two days after his abduction.
Police arrested six people in connection with the murder. All arrestees are relatives of the victim, police said.
The victim Md. Abdullah Al Nur, 4, son of Abul Hossain of village Chhoto Shalikha was abducted from in front of his residence Wednesday morning.
Officer in charge of Chatmohar police station Subrata Kumar Sarkar said locals found the body of the victim beside the Bhadra primary school of the upazila Friday afternoon. According to information from the locals police recovered the body.
The criminals hacked him and severed his head from the body, the OC said. Police only recovered the body with the head missing. Police in a drive arrested six people, most of whom are the relatives of the victim.
Lightning kills 2
A BSS report says: Two persons were killed by lightning in two villages under Ishwardi upazila of the district during heavy rain in the area Friday morning.
The victims were farmers Abdur Rahman Mollah,50, of Boira village and Abu Saeed,55, of Baghhasala village in the upazila.
