Madaripur AL leader dies

Advocate Shahiduzzaman Khan Reza, general secretary of Madaripur Poura Awami League (AL), died of a heart attack at his residence at Basabo in the city Tuesday evening at the age of 53, reports BSS.
He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter, mother, five brothers, three sisters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was buried at his family graveyard at Ukilpara in Madaripur town after Zohr prayers Wednesday after the second Namaj-e-Janaza at Poura Eidgah. Earlier, his first janaza was held on Basabo Tarun Sangha Club premises in Dhaka last night.
The qulkhwani of Advocate Reza will be held today (Thursday) after Asr prayers at his Ukilpara residence in Madaripur town.
