Madrasah student 'killed by 'roommate' in Noakhali

NOAKHALI, Oct 27 (UNB): A ten-year-old madrasah student was hacked to death allegedly by his roommate at Makhfunul Ulum Madrasah in Sonaimuri upazila of Noakhali district early Monday.
The deceased was identified as Nazim Uddin, son of Obayed Ullah of Jahanabad village.
Khorshid Alam, officer-in-charge of Sonaimuri Police Station, said Nazim had an altercation with his roommate Abu Sayed, 16, son of Rustam Ali of Mymensingh district over wearing a cap.
