Magura dist lawyers' assoc holds election

MAGURA, Jan 16: Advocate Abdul Mojid and Sazadur Rahman Shangram have been elected president and general secretary of Magura District Lawyers' Association respectively.
They were elected in annual election of the association on Monday.
Samsul Alam was elected vice-president while two joint secretaries were Nuruzzaman Shahin and Farid Hossen.
Other elected members are: Amit Mitra (Treasurer) and Wazeda Shiddiki (Cultural secretary).
Among 252 lawyers, 203 cast their vote in the election. Shanjid Biswas conducted the election as the election commissioner.
