Mahabub Ali made Shippers' Council chairman

Mahabub Ali has been elected chairman of the Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB) for a two-year term (2010-11) for the third time.
Kamran Uddin and Nanda Kishore Agarwala have been elected senior vice chairman and vice chairman respectively of the Council.
They were elected in the election to the board of directors held at the SCB secretariat in the city recently.
The other directors of the Council are Barkat-e-Khoda, Jasim U Ahmed, Md Humayun Kabir, Syed Golam Mowla, Sanjit Kumar Das, Syed Md Anisuzzaman, Md Firoz Alam and Zahid Hossain (Firoz).
The final result of the election will be announced formally in the Council's 28th annual general meeting on December 17, according to a press release.
