Mahmood Ali passing busy day in Delhi

Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali has been passing a busy day in New Delhi since he arrived in the Indian capital on Wednesday. Mahmood Ali, in India on a 4-day visit, has been passing a very busy day on Friday as he has got a series of meetings with Indian leaders in the next 48 hours. He is scheduled to meet Indian President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan at 12:30pm (Indian standard time) while Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter’s official residence at 4:15pm. He, however, will begin his bilateral engagements through a meeting with Indian Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati at Shram Shakti Bhavan on Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Marg today. The meeting is scheduled to start around 11:30am (Indian time). In between his meeting with Indian President and Prime Minister Mahmood Ali will meet Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval at the latter’s office in South Block in the Indian capital at 2:45pm. On the same day, the Foreign Minister will meet Indian Finance and Defence Minister Arun Jaitley in New Delhi’s North Block. Mahmood Ali will have a one-to-one meeting with his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj at Jawahar Bhavan at 10:35am on Saturday before the two sides sit for the third Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting at the same venue, according to private TV channels.
