Mahmood, Islam new chairman, secy of ICMAB's DBC

Md Abdullah Al-Mahmood -- chief financial officer of FM Yarn Dyeing Limited, and Md Munirul Islam -- human resource manager of Aristopharma Limited, have been elected chairman and secretary respectively of Dhaka Branch Council (DBC) of the Institute of Cost and Management Accounts of Bangladesh (ICMAB) for 2009, said a press release.
Besides, Md Rashad Kamal -- vice-president of Mercantile Bank Limited, and GM Omar Faruque Chowdhury -- country representative of ABS-Quality Evaluation, have been elected vice-chairman and treasurer respectively of the DBC.
Other members of the council were Md Akhtaruzzaman of SGS Bangladesh Limited, Joyanta Kumar Podder, Md Ali Haider Chowdhury of Unicom Group, SM Zahir Uddin Haider of Zahir Haider & Company, Mohammad Nizam Uddin of LM Ericsson Bangladesh Limited and Muhammad Maniruzzaman of Eastern Bank Limited.
