Maisha stars in Sir John Wilson School

Maisha of Sir John Wilson School continue to hog headlines as she slammed a brilliant hattrick to record an overwhelming 4-0 win for her school over Dawn Grammar School in the Citycell Dhaka Metropolis Women's School Football Championship at Dhanmondi Sultana Kamal Women's Sports Complex Thursday, reports BSS.
This was defending champions Sir John Wilson School's second win in a row.
Maisha was in impressive form as she completed her hattrick slamming three goals in a row in the 5th, 8th and 16th minutes while Afia joined the party with a goal in the 31st minute for the winners.
Sir John Wilson School earlier began the meet defeating Green Herald International School by 2-0 goals in the inaugural match of the competition.
The two other matches of the day ended in identical goalless draw at the same venue. Agargaon Adarsha High School drew with Dhanmondi Qamrunessa Govt Girls' High School while Mohammapur Preparatory Girls' High School drew with Motljheel Govt. Girls' High School.
At the Azimpur Girls' School ground, Rahmatullah Model High School registered their the first win in their second fixture as they blanked Jamila Khatun Girls' High School of Lalbagh by 2-0 goals.
Yasmin scored the brace for the winners in the 10th and 30th minutes, both goals were scored from penalty spot.
The day's other match between Dolairpar High School and Dhanmondi Girls' High School ended in a goalless draw at the same venue Thursday afternoon.
