Maj Gen Ashab new envoy to Kuwait

The government has decided to appoint Maj Gen Muhammad Ashab Uddin as the new ambassador of Bangladesh to Kuwait, reports UNB. Maj Gen Ashab was commissioned in 1979 with the 1st Regular batch cadets of Bangladesh Military Academy. In his distinguished military career, he served as General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Savar and Chittagong Area alongside other important appointments in Command, Staff and Instructional positions, including UN peace keeping mission abroad, said a Foreign Ministry release Monday.
