Major shares shrink on Ukraine

Some share markets in Europe and Asia tumbled on Friday after news that Ukrainian artillery destroyed part of a military convoy that crossed from Russia into eastern Ukraine. European shares gave up solid gains, with Frankfurt's DAX 30 slumping 1.01 per cent and Paris losing 0.37 per cent while in Asia Tokyo and Shanghai slumped following flare up in conflicts in Eastern Europe and Middle East, according to agencies.
