Make health care accessible for the poor
Wednesday, 8 December 2010
All men are equal in the eyes of God. But in society, we find poor and the under-privileged men, women and children suffering from various diseases, minor or chronic, do not go to the doctor for fear of high rate of consultation fee and heavy medical expenses.
They go to government hospitals, but do not get necessary medicine and proper medical care.
While patients with plenty of money are privileged and go to doctors, consultants and specialists in Singapore, India, UK or USA for medical check up and health care.
Do the poor and the unprivileged patients have no right to quality health care in this world?
How and when the differences between the poor and rich would come to an end in this respect?
We strongly believe that unless and until the privileged people realise and accept the fact that in birth and death the poor and the rich are the same, the differences would remain.
Let our government and the rich people help the poor and make our country happy and prosperous.
