Making easy the difficult subjects

WHEN examinations knock at the door, many students face a difficult situation. They are found tensed up and worried about their preparation. In most cases, students find themselves in puzzling situations since some subjects yet remain difficult.
One of the main reasons why those subjects are difficult are because they did not study them during the whole semester or throughout the year. Other reasons could be non-availability of good books on the subject, lack of competent teachers on the subject, preconceived fear of the subject.
Students should give more time for the most difficult subjects from the very beginning of the semester/ academic year. It is a common tendency among students to study those subjects which are easier and interesting. Students can make the most difficult subjects equally interesting provided they spend more time for them.
Not only more time, higher level of concentration is required for understanding the difficult concepts of the subjects. In order to do that, they can spend most convenient time of the day (which is early morning for many) and most comfortable place (may be library).
Students need to read more than one book for the most difficult subjects. If they see books are not available around them, they must look for them and manage them putting their all efforts. Today, students can also take a good amount of help from Internet for better understanding .
If the learners find that their teachers themselves are not competent, they can take various measures. They can study in a group, can take help of a senior brother or sister having competence on the subject.
If the students have the preconceived perception that 'that subject' is difficult, it can be very harmful. They should remember that no subject is difficult, it is only us who have made it 'difficult' by thinking of it continuously as 'difficult'. Those who contributed to the development of such subjects or wrote the books on the subject are humans like us. If they could do such a mammoth task of developing or writing a subject, why cannot we just study the subject and grasp the concepts? We must remove all such fears and study the difficult subjects boldly.
If we can make reading of difficult subjects interesting, we can gain confidence. And that will help us in every step of our life.
Survival is becoming more difficult with the increase of competition everywhere in life. We just cannot remain qualified, but need to be over qualified by having clear understanding of the most so called 'difficult' subjects in life.
