Malaysia, EU to hold 2nd round of meeting on FTA

KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 (Xinhua): The European Union (EU) is entering second round of meetings with the Malaysian government in June to explore the feasibility of agreeing to a free trade agreement (FTA).
EU officials' visit in June was a follow-up to the first meeting in March, local daily The Star quoted today ambassador and head of delegation of the EU to Malaysia Vincent iket as saying.
According to the newspaper, the initial meeting between Malaysia and the EU covered technical exploratory talks with the Malaysian International Trade and Industry Ministry.
