Malaysian company to invest $11m in AEPZ

King Kong Leather Ware (BD) Limited, a Malaysian company, will set up a leather footwear and accessories industry in the Adamjee Export Processing Zone (AEPZ), reports UNB.
This foreign company will invest US$ 11 million in setting up their unit and will produce to export annually 0.6 million (6 lakh) pairs of leather footwear and accessories products.
An agreement was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and the King Kong Leather Ware in BEPZA complex Monday in this connection.
