KOLKATA, Nov 16 (BSS): Indian West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gave a positive note to Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni today, saying she would try her best to come to an end to an agreement on Teesta water sharing soon safeguarding the interest of both sides. Mamata, who withdrew herself from the final stage of a treaty supposed to be inked during Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh's visit to Dhaka early September, said she has already set up a task force headed by a water expert and its report is expected to be available soon. "Based on the report, we will hold discussions for an agreement that would satisfy both Bangladesh and India," Mamata was quoted as saying after a 45-monute meeting with Dipu Moni at Writers Building here.
