Mamun new Secretary General of GEF-B

Mamun-Ur-Rashid, Deputy Managing Director of Standard Bank Limited, has recently been elected Secretary General of Global Economist Forum-Bangladesh (GEF-B) for the 2014-15 period. He is an inspired banker with 30 years of experience in the banking sector. Mamun started his career with National Bank in 1984. Since then, he has worked at NCCBL, Prime Bank, UCBL and Premier Bank in various capacities, according to a news agency. Prior to joining SBL, he was the Deputy Managing Director of Premier Bank Limited and United Commercial Bank Limited, said a press release on Sunday.
