Man awarded life imprisonment

RANGPUR, Oct 5 (UNB): A court Sunday convicted a man and awarded him life term imprisonment for violating a woman in 2006. The convict, Amzad Hossain, was also fined Tk 10,000 or to serve more six month in jail if fails to pay.
According to prosecution, Amzad had taken the victim who is wife of his nephew to Pronnathpur village in Pirganj Upazila where he violated her on August 28, 2006.
